Who doesn't like party favors?
I decided to make one for a quick tutorial today at Really Reasonable Ribbon
Let me share how these simple items we all have that can be made in to something pretty.
These are the few items I used
Yes, it really is a simple tissue paper roll and Pink and White Diagonal Stripe Grosgrain ribbon. I used Scor-Tape so I would have permanent adhesive.I loved the way this striped pink and white ribbon looked wrapped around the roll. After winding I added more Scor-Tape to the ends.In the picture above you will see I also placed Scor-Tape in the inside.
I decided to use some candy heart wrapped in a sheet of tissue paper. Can you see where I wrapped string of pearls around the ends?
I pulled the strip in the inside and made sure the tissue paper was attached all the way around.
I ended up cutting down the sides after putting ties on the ends.
Finished decorating with a flower and brad and Baker's Twine Sweetheart with a little tag
Here is a close up of my finished project... the potential is unlimited with the ribbons available.I know I will be making more of these for other occasions.
I would like to enter the following challenges:
