I was so thrilled when this box came to my house! This is a quick view of all the goodies I received.
Let me share one quick project I finished for today and then I have a giveaway of a slide bracelet for one  lucky person to put together.

Couldn't resist this RED slider  pieces- aren't those slider pieces fabulous?
Everything is here to put together this bracelet.
First I put the pieces together this way because I was going to add a different accent. I decided I wanted to show you how to use the rubber spacers that come with the leather bracelet.

Here is a view of my bracelet put together drying and ready to be worn as is. I chose to add a few accents at this point but they are certainly not needed.

Here is my giveaway I am sharing with one lucky person.
All you need to do is leave a comment letting me know you would like to be considered for the set from Cousin. It will include the blue leather bracelet, the owl slider set, and the end caps. I will also include the small tube of glue to attach your end pieces with.
A winner will be chosen  Saturday April 13th and posted   Sunday April 14th. Don't forget to check back and see if you have won.

Thank you to Cousin   for being so generous and watch for more beautiful jewelery pieces I will be sharing soon from the additional pieces I received in the box above.

This month  are theme is : Handmade Flowers-only things you find around the house.Recycle - Reuse - Rejoice!
Let me share a few steps and let you know how I created these GIFT BAGS for a few EASTER surprises.

I had these sheets of designer tissue paper from a gift I had received.Isn't it a shame how once these are wrinkled you hate to use them or throw them away...how about some quick flowers to adorn some new gift packages? How simple to lay the tissue sheets together and fold them to fit the size of my sizzix tattered florals die.

You really have to be careful when you pull the die plates away! There is electricity and they will scatter!

First I separated the one color tissue and started layering with a fast drying glue

The last thing I did was make some quick tags to add to the bags...
Pulling out one of my favorite companies of stamps Labranche silicone stamps-Winged Collage.
Memento angel Pink ink was the background
Memento Tuxedo Black for the Hero Arts -Small greetings sentiment.

Some of the flowers were added on the bag and some were added to the tag...quick and easy.
Hope you take a minute to leave a comment and let me know you were here. Then check out the other projects made my so many talented crafters...just click on the DCC link in my sidebar.

Thanks for stopping by

You Must Have Been A Beautiful Baby

Well Hello There!  ready to share a baby girl idea you can use as a gift or decor in your own home.
I am so thrilled to be here today sharing a quick project I put together using some standard Smoothfoam shapes.

Would you like to see a few steps to put together one of these pieces?

Using a standard 3 x 3 and 4 x 4 shape made this and easy and fast craft project to complete
I had these fat square pieces and was so thrilled to have them all ready cut and ready to use.

Using alphabet circle pieces I spelled out BABY PINS and used small pins to hold them to the cube.
I happened to have some baby toy pieces to decorate the cubes and think they really added to the design

Using my favorite tape runner I applied the flannel squares to each side of each cube.

I even used the scrap squares to cover the top of the largest cube and then placed the smaller cube on top.

How fun to add a very tiny pink ric rac along the seams with a liquid fabric glue to make the seams look clean.

March is National Craft month!
Our theme this month is: Favorite Craft Techniques
 I LOVE,LOVE,LOVE to alter items!!!
It was a really ugly drawer box until I went to work changing that. That is Tim Holtz tear able tissue tape, using a script and also a musical note design. Even going so far to add a distress ink in picket fence of course.
I bet you can't believe I even used Tim Holtz inks to distress with also. Those doilies were in my supplies and I like having them inked.
Using many flowers, ribbons, trims I distress with inks and glue and stickles.
I was thrilled to be able to use pearls and decorations. If you would like to see a better view of my altered project- check out this video of my Craft room.
Now hold on a minute I have a couple announcements to share and even a giveaway!!!

The Buttons Galore and More are having a challenge hop that will start Saturday, March 9th use the
DESIGNERS CRAFTS link.

Since it's National Craft Month, there is a Designer Crafts Giveaway - a collection of product from FabScraps.

Kissing Ball Of Chocolate

Hello,
It's First Monday for Designer Crafts Connection bloggers and our theme this month is "Love is Handmade"

Just wanted to pop in and share a quick and easy Smoothfoam project anyone can make for many occasions. I think this Kissing Ball would be perfect for a Valentine sweetheart... what do you think?

Smoothfoam Ball and lots of Hershey kisses in Red and Silver
 1. Start with a plain Smoothfoam 4 1/2 diameter ball
 2. Work in sections and either low temp glue gun or liquid glue can be used.
3.Alternate the red and silver candy pieces.
TIP:The paper slips can be removed from the candy before crafting if you choose not to see the paper.
4. Choose your favorite ribbon and combine a couple colors or patterns. I chose to mix a silver and red and white design. Make loops and using low temp glue gun  attach to top of ball in a decorative manner.
5. I chose to use stickles in between the kisses to cover the white spots...this is totally your choice bare is fine as you see in the above picture.
The hardest part was not eating all the candy before I finished the ball
Smoothfoam products are available at your local Michael's stores or on-line.
