Floral  Layout

Floral layout of my daughter

Supply List:
Vintage Wildflower stamp set, Innoscents flowers stamp set, Falling Leaves Die, blossom two die, Peony die,Spell binders –Rose Creations, Cheery Lynn- Olive Branch, Fanciful flourish.Quickutz butterfly die.
Martha Stewart hand punch, SA Crafter’s -White pearls, purple pearls. Really Reasonable Ribbon-yellow/green ribbon, Colorbok letter stickers,Stickles-Stardust, Pattern paper from- Coredinations,My Mind’s Eye, Close To My Heart, DCWV. Hobby Lobby, McGill Flower making kit
Inks- Stampin Up, Memento

Instructions Floral Layout
Start by choosing several coordinating papers and stamp and die cut various flowers to layer. Die cut leaves and vines. Use a piece of foam and McGill flower making kit to individually make each flower, shaping and inking the edges as you.
Use a white piece of card stock and mat an embossed sheet of designer paper with decorative border. Double Mat picture and angle to right side of layout.
Gradually lie flowers out in a design you like (pre plan before adhering) Go slowly and use a liquid glue for thinner vines and gradually use pop dots to attach flowers at different levels. At this point add pearls to flower centers and edges of layout.
Attach word title by using a clear ruler with words spelled out and half stuck to ruler and hanging over edge. Easy to attach and see alignment on the layout.
Last steps are to use pop dots and twist ribbon in between flowers and attach a bow in at least one area.
My last step is to outline letter stickers and edges of some of the flowers.

Some of you that are my faithful followers might remember this project that I shared at Christmas time

Poinsettia Wreath

I wanted to share a wreath I made this past December.
Supply List:
Regal Poinsettia Stamp Set, Open Falling Leaves Stamp Set, Blossom Nestabilities, Falling Leaves Die set,Book Die Cut,Pine Branch die cut (Cheery Lynn),Vintage Music sheets, Memento Ink( tuxedo black, Rich Cocoa,New Sprout,Lady Bug,Bamboo Leaves),Lipton tea bags, Close tom My Heart card stock-White,Red,Green,Red Ribbon-Really Reasonable Ribbon, Berries-Hobby Lobby floral, Gold Elastic Ribbon-Hobby Lobby
Instructions to make a wreath:
Start with a basic wreath shape, I chose to use a foam material.
Take old sheet music and cut or tear into 2’inch strips. I used (7)-Seven pages. Make a tea mixture to stain your music strips. I like to steep 5-6 tea bags with 4 cups water and let it sit with the strips for 10 minutes or less.
While you have the tea mixture you can die cut more music sheets with the book shape or you can make your own special pages with stamps-like verses or hymns.
After steeping the papers I place my sheets on an absorbent towel and let dry, these can also be dried with a heat gun. It will be your personal preference to how dark you choose to make the strips; I like to re-stain a couple times.
A strong liquid adhesive that holds to foam suggested. Hot glue was used for the assembly of this wreath.
Slowly wrapped the strips making sure to completely cover the foam shape, make sure each new strip is flat and does not show a gap.
Stamp flower stamp and leaves enough times to cover your wreath, embossing is recommended to give dimension.15- (3 layer) sets were made to finish this wreath. Die cut all shapes using matching die cuts, these also could be hand cut if you don’t have matching sets yet.
Distress ink the edges to give a little dimension and shape with fingers. Each flower was assembled, distressed, and finished with Stickles.
Miniature music book was matted with a Chipboard base distressed with ink. Several pages were layered to give a full look, and tied with elastic gold trim and accented with a smaller flower.
Red and white berries were added for more texture and a 2’inch red ribbon was used to hang from the top. Extra greenery dies can be used to accent or fill in areas at this time.

Thanks so much for checking out my post I hope you take the time to vote- you could win also!

Shadowbox Garden Card

*** I have three posts today-please check out my other projects and  will you vote for me and share my good news***

My project today using Creative Inspirations Paint is something really different then a usual type card.
I decided to make a shadowbox type card.
All the flowers were cut out with a rose die cut my friend had   (SEE STEPH I USED THE SAME ONE)- I decided to use Mango and Citrus paints to accent many of the pieces after I lightly inked the design while it was in the die and then accented with my Spectrum Noir markers.
I tried to share a few angles so you could see the flowers and the beautiful colors.
Here you can see the dimension of the display card and how I did a three step base in the inside to layer the flowers at different levels.
That beautiful ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon and is from their Ribbon of the month assortment this month.I believe the decorative brad is from SEI.
The leaves were cut out from dies from Heartfelt Creations and a couple Martha Stewart punches.

I just wanted to take the time to Thank Molly and the design team  at Creative Inspirations Paint-this is my last post as a design team member, I know I will be playing along with the challenges and be back in April for both of the challenges.
I have enjoyed playing and painting everything I could with my paints, glitter, and embossing powders.

I am entering this in the following challenges:
Celebrate The Occasion-Welcome Spring
Crafty Bloggers-Floral
Love To Create-Anything Goes
Stamp and Create-paper piecing
Unstampabelles- no stamp ,Easter, extra folds

The theme for our Challenge  at Really Reasonable Ribbon is Pink & Brown & Ribbon
The winner will receive a $10 gift certificate to Really Reasonable Ribbon . We will also be drawing a random winner from all the entries to win a second $10 gift certificate to Really Reasonable Ribbon.

Here's what you need to do:
* Create a new project using the posted theme. A layout, card, ATC, home decor item, hair bow, or anything your can think of.
* You may enter as many times as you like, but you're asked to provide newly designed projects. No back-linking please.
* All projects must also include some sort of ribbon/lace/trim
My quick project today is a gift bag made with Striped Big Bitty Bags and Brown Wrinkled Ribbon.
I started by decorating the bag with some stickles to accent the stripes. The paper doily and chipboard die cut were some items I have had on my desk for other projects.
Now you know there had to be some goodies in the inside?
I used a few extra flowers and a leaf to make it pretty.
In my last photo I wanted to share that I added a few glittered brads to the chipboard piece-this was made with a die cut from Heartfelt Creations.
So that is my project today- Hope you pop in and join us for our Pink & Brown & Ribbon challenge.

Let Me Organize You

                                      Welcome,
I want to share my organizing idea today with you.
I pulled out my Purple Cows Craft Geek Stamp It.

I decided to play around with designs and colors.
Now I had no clue what I would do with them after I had them.

I used all four seasons and tried to keep them in the sets as they are available.
Here is the whole project together
This is the top, I loved this design stamped on patterned paper from CTMH.
I matted my design with black card stock to add weight and ground the colors.
These are the next two panels decorated. I had these vintage holly leaves and very thin red ribbon from my stash. How about those mini colored clothes pins? I just hot glued them to the top of each panel.
Here is the last two panels- sorry I couldn't get a better picture of it hanging.
One last view of a vintage image clipped to show you how it van be used.
I also wanted to share the Poinsettia was paper pieced after using Spellbinder dies and stamps from Heartfelt Creations.

I am hoping to share this project with someone that can use it to clip notes or messages in a tight spot.
Thanks for joining me today-so glad I could share my Purple Cows project with you.
