Put The Kettle On

Hello,
Dawnll here again on my regular Wednesday posting day...I love when we have a chance to shareour favorites with everyone.
Everyone knows I love cats and this one is adorable as can be!
Mulberry Woods Tea For Two stamp set.
I decided to stamp an image on my favorite Ultra Smooth Premium White Cardstock for Alcohol Markers
Then I stamped a second image on a piece of patterned paper. This one I cut and paper pieced
I even got to use my Extra Strong Permanent Tape Runner.

See how easy that is to do?
How about a close up of the  Spectrum  Noir Pen Sets colors I used.
I even got to  use an Embossing Folder for the background , I always love the white on white matting.
I finished off with a few pink pearls and a large satin bow.
On my second card I just kept a clean and simple design with the paper piecing for the image and a patterned paper background.
Hope you enjoyed my cards today...I will be back next week same time and place.

Friends Are The Flowers

As the sun rises over magical Mulberry Wood, its cute residents awaken from their slumber and emerge into the forest. A carpet of dew sparkles in the golden light of the sun as the animals make their way to work or play! There's something for everyone in this brand new range brought to you by Crafter's Companion.

I am popping in to share a quick card I designed using a few products from Crafter's Companion.
Mulberry Wood EZMount Set - Friend
 Spectrum  Noir Pen Sets
Ultra Smooth Premium White Cardstock for Alcohol Markers
 Embossing Folders

Like to share the colors I used whenever I can. I even tried a few tips I learned from The Spectrum Noir Blog.

After embossing some distressable paper I sanded and then decided to accent with glitter.
I had this fun checked ribbon in my stash and it just seemed to work with the design.
Thanks for checking out my design and hope I inspired you to try something from our on-line store.

Christmas Joy

Welcome
Today is another quick project from me for Crafter's Companion. Every week I get to share sneak peeks or new releases.even once in awhile we get to share anything we like.
I love to color any of the Humphrey images... this Christmas Sock Design is just to cute for words.

This week I decided to create another fun box, so you know what I used to make sure my box was straight...
Have you used an Ultimate Crafter's Companion  tool? It makes measuring and creating go so much faster once you get the hang of it.
I started by stamping my image on my favorite paper Ultra Smooth Premium White Cardstock for Alcohol Markers
I used my  Memento Pads and then my Spectrum Noir Alcohol Makers.
 I used my 8" X 8" Embossing Folder - Regency Damask  yes you read that right...8 x 8!
I even used Distress Ink Pads to ink my edges.
Love how cute this sweetie turned out,fun colors and great papers make for a fun design
I even found some Christmas papers in my stash that worked for matting.
I even matted a paper on the back side so I can decorate later when I use this box for a gift.
Both ribbons on the front are from really Reasonable ribbon.

How Sweet You Are

Today I am here to share the release of these Toread - legendary tiny nymphs!  from Crafter's Companion- this one is named Flora!
I decided to change up my coloring this week and pulled out my colored pencils and mineral spirit and my nib to color with.
All my images are stamped on  Ultra Smooth Premium White Cardstock for Alcohol Markers
I am just loving this paper and it works with all my coloring mediums.
The image and sentiment were cut out with a shaped die and matted to my card. I decided to pull out some papers from my stash that had lots of floral and green.
I put lots of bling from my Want 2 Scrap stash all over in bits and pieces. I even used some 3D Crystal Lacquer in a few places to accent and give dimension.
I have had so much fun playing the past two weeks with these images...I hope you enjoyed all the sneak peeks last week and releases this week.

Sprinkling Glitter All Over

Welcome to the mystical world of the Toread - legendary tiny nymphs!  from  Crafter's Companion, this cutie is named Sky.
These will be released next week so you can check out our sneak peeks all week. I know when I seen these images  I had spun a tale in my own head about all of them.
I wanted to make a bag of glitter dust this cutie can sprinkle all over.
Had to pull out my Spectrum Noir markers to color this cutie...used four greens to accent the leaves.
Once I had the image colored I chose to cut out and mount using a shape design. I even used card board for my mat to add texture.Cut out several leaves from a Cheery Lynn Designs Die. All the leaves were inked with my favorite Memento Ink.
I used some ribbon from my stash to tie and attach my image to the glitter burlap bag.
I can almost hear this cutie laughing as they run around sprinkling glitter...lol

From Teddy With Love

Hello
How are you doing today? I am thrilled to be back on another Wednesday to share a project from Crafter's Companion. Every week I say "Isn't this the cutest?" Well, I am going to say it again!
I love this Teddy Bear Meadow Cottage Bears EZMount Stamp Set - With Love
from Christine Hayworth.

I had so much fun coloring this bear with my Spectrum Noir markers...I kept the colors very light  so it looks kind of vintage.
I have a little silly story to share...If you look close you will see the nose is textured. My cat Pippie likes to help when I am crafting...she touched the nose when it had 3D Crystal Lacquer and was drying. She had it on her nose so I assume it is her nose print on there...lol
We all love our Markers

I like to mat my images to make them pop, I also love to use Kraft paper card bases especially with bears.
Loved adding black ribbon and black flat back pearls as accents
This is a very simple and clean design but I really love how it turned out.
Thanks for joining me today, I will see you next week with another great Crafter's Companion project.

Butterflies & Flowers

Hello Everyone,
I am here today to share an extra card project for Crafter's Companion today. We had a couple open days so a few of us get to share an extra project.
For my project today I wanted to share a colorful butterfly
I used a few butterflies and this sentiment from  Sheena's A Little Bit Scenic - Flying Colors.
Isn't this a fabulous set? I just love the size and details of these beauties. I used my Spectrum Noir markers to color and shade. All the butterflies and sentiment were stamped fussy cut and matted with black card stock.
I used some really fun ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon that just seemed to work with the colors I used.
To finish off my design I decided to add a few flowers and leaves...this is really a CAS design for me. Hope I inspired you to play with your images and sentiments.
I will see you on Wednesday with another project from Crafter's Companion.

Do You Believe In Fairies?

Well I sure hope you do, I have a beauty to share with you. This is my Wednesday post with Crafter's Companion

Today I have a quick Crafter's Companion design to share using a couple Sheena Douglass images. I love fairies and this is just one of these sweet ones available.
I used the vines also to give it a mystical feel, she had to have somewhere to land.
I started by embossing the card stock with a Darice5" X 7" Embossing Folder - Dot Background...I am thrilled Crafter's Companion is now carrying these embossing folders.
I hope you can see that I added some simple highlighting with my Spectrum Noir markers ~ you know I had to add some color.I also added some stickles to her wings top and bottom.
I wanted to keep the design simple and added this simple pattern ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

Christmas Is Coming

Oh I am so excited to share this new image from Sheena Douglass - Christmas Is Coming ,this is one of my favorite cards I have colored in a long time
I pulled out my Spectrum Noir markers, and had a grand time aging this old truck...I had to use a few other alcohol markers to achieve the blue I wanted.
Isn't this a fabulous Christmas time image? My favorite is the tree in the back of the truck...I added some Stickles to the tree so it would look like snow glistening.
I decided to double mat the image twice with just a simple card stock and simple pattern.
I used the matching sentiment and love the font and words...just perfect for this image.
Oh yea I know I want to make some more of these for Christmas cards to send, what do you think?
Have you started to think about holiday cards yet? You have to check out the many spectacular images available for holiday cards.
Thanks for checking out my design today, so glad I could share with you.
