I finished a couple cards yesterday before my husband got home.He has been out of town for 10 days.
My friend Mary brought me some papers over to share.I used a couple pieces from a Noah's ark paper pad (sorry I don't know the maker) and I also used a new stamp set I picked up at a sale I went to with The Angel Co- TAC, not sure if it is retired, I have a feeling it is.The set is called Keep on Cluckin and I thought it was adorable. I started out with coloring and blending with my CTMH markers-I am loving that coloring! Then I cut out and pop dotted the chickens for dimension, I have found if I outline the cutouts with a black or brown marker they look cleaner or more realistic. Added a few things like ribbon from Michael's.
The second card has CTMH paper pack Animal cookies from the Creative basics set. I thought they were really cute with this paper. Not sure if I should add another embellishment on that card, almost seems plain around the ribbon without something. Let me know what you think.

Those are wicked cute.
ReplyDeleteBet you're glad to have your husband back. I know I hated it when Bryan was away
I never really would have thought using chickens would make a nice card, but these came out rather well! I love the background on the second card! Very cute!
