Changing Furniture

Changing furniture is one thing I really enjoy doing.

Sorry for these pictures but it was so hard to take pictures because of the angle of where I have the bench.

I found this bench at a local antique store I shop. It was a little rough on the top but really sturdy.

You won't believe I bought this piece for $17.00...yes that is all!

I went on-line and ordered a cushion to fit the top and fabric that would coordinate with the colors in my bedroom. Yes, I sewed the cover and added velcro on the back so I can wash the cover. Well of course I bought extra fabric to make pillows. I couldn't believe how expensive the pillow forms were but finally found some at my local Joann's so I could use a coupon.

It is nice to sit down when putting on shoes and have extra storage for out of season clothes.
