Home is such a wonderful word! That is how I felt when I started to color these brand new Tumbleweed Houses from Susan K Weckesser made by Unity Stamps. Like I had come home to a great neighborhood.
Excited to be sharing these adorable images in this new set.
Let me share a few steps of my process to create this fun and colorful card.
I started by coloring with pencils and mineral spirits and a nib.
After coloring all the images and fussy cutting they were ready to do a few extra steps.
I like to run a black marker around all the edges so the white of the paper doesn't show. All the windows were accented with a clear glass liquid.
Can you see That fun background paper? Yes that is one of Susan K Weckesser designs. It is the backside of this great flower paper. I used some scrap paper to make grass. I even decided to use a leaf stamp from another new release of Susan Weckesser called What's Up Gnomey?.I decided to cut it apart and use it as an embellishment.Isn't it great when you can use stamps in different ways?
I wanted to share all the dimension on this card, I used different pop dots and foam tape to give different levels. That ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
Thanks so much for popping in today to check out my newest card for Susan K Weckesser. & Unity blog hop. Don't forget to check out all the projects and leave some love. You can check out all our weekly projects on the Susan Weckesser Blog... My Sweet Earth.
