I know I can't be the only crafter that has projects that never get posted because they are not for a design team assignment? I used Fab Scraps paper and die cuts to make them.Glitter was added to the die cut words and star
I always pick up items when I am out junking...I know some day I will use them. Originally these blocks were fluorescent PINK! Now I LOVE, LOVE Pink but not that shade. I painted with some Gesso to cover the PINK and then used and antique white acrylic paint and a little Tea dye to antique the edges.
I used the same technique as above on my sweet little teddy bear and gave him an adorable vintage look. I was thrilled when I remembered I had that red bow. thought this would be sweet for a little boys room with a picture of the bundle of joy.

I have had this Mo Manning image sitting on my coloring clip board just waiting to be used and I knew when I seen the Girl Friend chip board piece it would work for my card. I just cut the words apart and used one piece on the front and the other half on the inside of the card. This sweetie went to a very special lady-hope she is enjoying!
I loved these papers blended together and just the word with glitter. You know I had to add a couple hand pieced flowers some where.Such a fun die shape-and of course you knew I would add flowers
Such a fun image and a quick card to put together .
