Mother's Day Challenge Your In My Heart

Have you joined the Crafter's Companion Challenge yet? Do you know they have been giving away stamp sets every single week to get more stamps out there. You need to use a Crafter's Companion stamp and there are many of them.

The challenge this month is MOTHERS DAY

I have this little cutie with Humphrey Unmounted Rubber Stamp Set - Best Friends  isn't this adorable?
I used a die cut from Cheery Lynn called Heart to Heart Doily  and made my card base.
I decided to stamp my image on a watercolor piece of paper with a little grain to it. This was when my Spectrum Noir markers came out- You knew they would!
My color combos went together so well and I have to admit I tried to match the design on the stamp set packaging.

There are a few layers on the front of my design, I cut a couple layers of heart die shapes and even used a little glitter in between the layers.I added some flowers and a leaf from my stash and some light lilac pearls.

I used some core dotted paper in the inside and the rest of the layers from the die cuts.

My mother has passed but I have many special ladies in my life that are like a mother, I will use this for them and I know they will love this sweet design.
