Just thought I would pop in to share some extra cards I finished.
Is it as beautiful in your area is it is here today?
I should have been outside but I had this idea in my head and had to make this card. My honey's birthday is coming up and I always have a hard time making a card I think he would enjoy.
Now he is happy with lots of my cards but I want one with no flowers, no girly design that would fit him.
Unity had this great Kit of The Month set March 2010 - Rockin It Unity Style-favorite Things. My honey is a real music lover!
I also think this fits the challenge Unity has a March challenge -use doors or window. I used a tag die cut to cut out the front window so you could view the jukebox in the inside
This is the inside,I used a music set of papers I found in my stash and it just seemed to work for the theme. I LOVE this jukebox and wanted to color.I really thought it looked better with glitter pens and sort of retro colors.
I used liquid glass for the window of the jukebox.
I think he is really going to enjoy this.
I am entering the following challenges with this card:
Crafting when we can-for the boysUnity Stamps March- windows or doors
Delightful Challenges-for someone special
Scrap It With A Song- Moondance Van Morrison (this is my favorite song in the whole world and this song would be on the jukebox for sure) Then my honey would know it was from me!
I keep forgetting to share my extra card I made after our Really Reasonable Ribbon hop last week. This freebie image (from Free Digital Images) was sitting on my desk. The hoop was painted with one of my favorite pink paints from Creative Inspirations Paint.
The sentiment is part of a freebie from Sweetly Scrapped.
I used a Martha Stewart punch for the scalloped border.
Well of course the ribbon is from really Reasonable Ribbon.
Once again I just used some freebies-this is from Emily at Sweetly Scrapped. I just love these pink typewriters!!!
The twine is also from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
I am entering the following challenges:
That Craft Place-anything goes
Allsorts-Three in a row
