*** I have three posts today-please check out my other projects and will you vote for me and share my good news***
Well have I got a cutie today to share. For my design team assignment this week at Crafter's Companion I get to share a Beatrix Potter image! These images will be available real soon and here is where you will find them
So this project has two different images-hope you like them.
I decided to make a little hanging plaque that was embellished with a few pieces such as a couple feathers and flowers.. I started by coloring both of my images with my Spectrum Noir markers. Now you know I wouldn't do a project without some fussy cutting.
I actually started with a 3 1/2 x 4 sized embroidery hoop...I have a few of these in my stock to alter, been saving these forever.
I outlined the hoop with some soft blue ribbon to match a shade I used in my coloring.
The inside image was cut with a die shape and matted on a circle, I know it is hard to see what the inside image was pop dotted with a little thickness. While the image was in the die cut shape I used ink from my Spectrum Noir marker swiped on an acrylic block and ink dauber and used it to do the background.
Thanks for checking out my project today-hope I inspired you to try other projects with your stamps.
I am entering this project in the following challenges:
Anything Goes-get Ready For Spring
Oldie But A goodie Challenge-use up supplies and Easter (my hoop is well over a year old)
The Cutie Pie Challenge- Pink and Rabbit
NEXT I WANT TO SHARE MY CHALLENGE PROJECT FOR THIS MONTH
Crafters Companion's challenge this month is Going Green
Isn't this a beautiful image? I used Three stamps from Stamp It to make my card today
My background is a beautiful design I just added a little color to.Most of the images were stamped on canvas from Claudine Hellmuth. The bird image was stamped on white card stock and fussy cut and pop dotted for dimension.
The three medallions were cut from a larger background stamp; you can see what I did with the other medallions from the set right here.
I wanted to share the dimension and my glimmer bow ,that ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
Can you see I matted that background image? A simple red flower and a couple leaves from my stash.
Have you joined our challenge yet? You need to use a Crafters Companion stamp
