Are you ready for me to share a sneak peek of some new stamp images coming to Crafter's Companion?
I get to post each Monday so I am one of the first ones to share a sneak peek! lol
My project today is a package of cards to give as a gift-all the cards are the standard size.
The images today are Kanji Sets from Sunday International-they will be available for sale really soon at Crafter's Companion RIGHT HERE.
I will start off by saying this isn't my "usual" style, but I enjoyed working with the clean images and the simple elegance of each of these Japanese words.
Did you know Kanji (Japanese ) are the Chinese characters that are used in the modern Japanese logographic writing system along with hiragana , katakana , and the Arabic numerals. The Japanese term kanji literally means "Han characters".
I enjoy trying new styles and always experimenting with designs.
Most of the papers I used were in my stash of unused supplies-beautiful textured and tissue like papers.
I really liked the clean look of matting each word with black card stock and using as the focal point on these clean and simple designs.
I even dug through my supplies to find a couple coins and bamboo pieces. I did also accent a few corners with Viva Gold.
For this set of gift cards I used the following words ; STRENGTH, HAPPINESS,THANKFULNESS,JOY,WISDOM,STRENGTH, and INSPIRATION.
The package of cards were tied together with this fun ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon and just seemed to work for me.
I hope you check back at Crafter's Companion each day to see all the beautiful and imaginative ways my team members use these same stamp images.
