Well anyone that visits my blog knows how much I LOVE die cuts!!!
Since joining the Sweet Stamps Design Team this past year, I have discovered Cheery Lynn Designs.
There is a Design Team call going on right now- I know I would regret it terribly if I didn't attempt to apply.
Now saying that I know there is some pretty talented people applying, scares the be-jeezers out of me.
Since I am behind a couple birthday cards I knew I could design a couple around some my favorite Cheery Lynn dies.
My first card is a yellow -pink theme. Once again I cut a white Lattice 2 Window Frame die. This is one of my staple dies, because it allows me to show yummy paper like this pink-yellow Prima paper underneath.
I also used Little Stackers scalloped circles and nested two together to make the circle Tilda is resting in.
The majority of flowers I used were handmade by me using my Cricut to cut sheets of mini flowers.I used a Martha Stewart punch to make the leaves.
The white lace is from Wild Orchid Crafts
The rose buds are from Pizzazz Aplenty.I always use a paint brush handle to curl the flower wires and give that extra dimension.
Tilda is from Magnolia and was colored with Copic markers.
For my second card I used pretty much the same design but changed out the papers and flowers.
Once again I cut a white Lattice 2 Window Frame die,
Next I used half of English Tea Party Doily Die- this is another one of my dies I LOVE to use.
Paper is from Prima.Lace is from Wild Orchid Craft. The corner die under the flowers is from Heartfelt Creations.
The flowers on this beauty are also from Wild Orchid Crafts
Tilda is from Magnolia and was colored with Copic markers.
I just wanted to show one last view of the inside, I chose to use the same pattern in the inside with a little decorative corner die I used on the front.
I am thrilled to have two cards done and all I need to do is personalize with a birthday sentiment before I give them away.
Now that I have shared my entry into Cheery Lynn's Design Team call, I hope you pop over and try out yourself, I would be thrilled to be asked to join the team and would love to have you with me.

Dawn, these cards are beautiful as are all your cards. I don't know what "scares" you about apply as a DT for Cheery Lynn. Your cards are just as beautiful, and sometimes even more beautiful, as any one else's are that's applying. I say I'm glad you're going for it!!! I wish I could join you over there applying but I'm just not a great card maker, and with designing for Sheila and Pam I don't think I could handle another right now.
