My first time using vellum and a stamp and piercing tools.I think it is just beautiful especially for my first time.
I used 7048 Wild Rose & Vine Frame- The image was stamped with White Dye ink pad for parchment on Vellum and heat embossed with White embossing powder.I then colored the back with a dove blender and ink pads.
On my second attempt I stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink and embossed with clear embossing powder.
I wanted this 8009 Lacey antique frame for a card to send to a close friend- her partner of 61 years just passed away this past week.
I cut the middle out and placed a new piece of vellum in the opening and the picture of them when they first started dating in the inside.
Sweet Stamps has some wonderful tutorials if you would like to join us this week and learn something about parchment crafting.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful job on both, I really like the first one! So very elgant and I just love how you colored it in!!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, I love them both. I adore the really soft colour of the parchment with the tiny bit of colour on the flowers, then the contrast of the white on black really brings the photo to life..
