I Caught A Fairy

Oh yes I did catch one... Would you like to see her?

I used an antique blue jar I had with a metal insulated lid. It really works well to keep her safe.

Dawn from The Feathered nest had patterns for sale on her blog -this one really grabbed my attention.

I wish I could have gotten a better picture but it just kept shining off the glass and the glitter on her wings.
I added a few embellishments of my own that she didn't have on hers.
This is the saying she included with the pattern, and fit the image so well. I made a tag with my antique lace I have been hoarding saving for a long time.
A lttle twine, beads, and Tim Holtz distressing ink made this craft really aged looking.
Isn't my fairy a cutie???

    i love it! this is gorgeous! that poem is fantastic!!!!

    i don't know what's wrong with me, but i feel like i just can't keep up with anything! or i'm doing something wrong. there was no one at my PCP forum all wkend and i even left a freebie! maybe i should slow down? just keep the challenge and CDAC. whatdda you think?

    i never thought about my blog yesterday either. i was busy allllllll day long. it's nice to get back. especially to friends who miss me!
