I Love This Layout

I have used a picture of a past layout I made as a gift for my youngest son and my future DIL.
I made a layout to qualify for SEVERAL challenges this week.
I have to say I am pretty thrilled I could make this fun layout. Let me know what you think.
This is the first engagement of one of our children and it was a great reason to CELEBRATE.
I am so in love with my new daughter already, she has been a fantastic young woman to get to know.
Sketch is from Design Dollies Thursday Sketch challenge.
All the paper used is from my stash of Hobby Lobby sale papers I was hoarding saving for a special day I guess.
The chipboard letters are from Hobby Lobby also.
This really fun and adorable ribbon is from Reasonable Ribbon from this past months club kit I received.
The flowers are from Close to My Heart.
Challenges I am adding it to
Reasonable ribbon -challenge # 5 -Black & White color theme
Design Dollies- challenge Thursday Sketch
Frosted Designs - Celebrate Life challenge My BFF Kim is the host
Practical Scrappers - First celebrations Challenge- Their 1st Anniversary

Thanks so much for visiting and may you come back often to visit.

  2. Ahh. I love that design too. Pendants are the rage and I am loving them!!! So glad that you adore your new daughter-in-law. I have loved the girlfriends that my son has had and I have gotten so attached. He and Katie are broken up. I hope they get back together because they are so perfect for each other.

  4. Great LO and I do think that ribbon is too cool. Your DIL is so lucky to have a MIL so willing to share her son. Instead of loosing a son you are gaining a daughter. That's a special thing!

  20. Dawn,
Thanks for the sweet comments you left for me at my blog! LOVE it when someone comments! I love your page! It is too cute! The banners are the "in" thing lately and I can't get enough of them either. Nope, I live in Arkansas.... these flowers are perfect for plucking and not feeling guilty! Pretty too! Cheap and pretty just usually doesn't go together too often :)

Hope you have a great day and a wonderful weekend. ... gotta go move my water hose. We are drying up and withering away here!
    Happy Scrappin'
