Designers Crafts National Craft Month

Welcome to another monthly project with Designer Crafts Connection.
The Designer Crafts Blog Connection is a group of professional Arts & Crafts industry designers, who are linked together to support each other and industry manufacturers with one objective - to share their love of crafts with as many people as possible. We post projects and giveaways on the First Monday of each month.

After you finish here, click on the DCC logo over to the right there in the sidebar and hop to the next blog. Look for the same logo on each blog's sidebar to continue hopping. Details for entering the DCC giveaway are at the end of this post!
Don't forget to Look for this logo on your favorite craft blogs then hop around for inspiration. You'll be glad you did!

March is National Craft month!
Our theme this month is: Favorite Craft Techniques
 I LOVE,LOVE,LOVE to alter items!!!
It was a really ugly drawer box until I went to work changing that. That is Tim Holtz tear able tissue tape, using a script and also a musical note design. Even going so far to add a distress ink in picket fence of course.
I bet you can't believe I even used Tim Holtz inks to distress with also. Those doilies were in my supplies and I like having them inked.
Using many flowers, ribbons, trims I distress with inks and glue and stickles.
I was thrilled to be able to use pearls and decorations. If you would like to see a better view of my altered project- check out this video of my Craft room.
Now hold on a minute I have a couple announcements to share and even a giveaway!!!

The Buttons Galore and More are having a challenge hop that will start Saturday, March 9th use the
DESIGNERS CRAFTS link.

Since it's National Craft Month, there is a Designer Crafts Giveaway - a collection of product from FabScraps.

If you would like to enter, please go through all the blogs linked with Designer Crafts and comment on as many as you can. Remember your favorites and go to Life In The Craft Lane and leave a comment with your favorites.

Thank so much for popping in, I always enjoy your visits and read all my comments.

  3. Thanks for sharing your craft room with us. I love the wood blocks with the velcro on the bottom and the spot for the dauber on top. What a great idea! I bet you could market those as not everyone has someone handy in their life to help create such items. As with many people my craft room is a work in progress, so I love to see how others put theirs together.
