Hello and welcome to another Crafters Companion Birthday Blog Hop this week. We are so excited to share our Birthday celebration with you. The blog hop starts today August 6th and ends at midnight pst on August 10th.
Hope you pull out your favorite drink and sit for a spell and hop through all the blogs on our hop. I know there will be lots of ideas and inspiration.
First you need to be a follower of my blog for my prize and of the
Crafter's Companion informational blog for the BIG GIVEAWAY. You must be a US Resident, leave a
comment on this post AND find the "secret" letter on each design team member's
blog that spells out a "secret" phrase...then when you figure out the statement you will email our lovely Bindy with your answer.
Now if you didn't arrive here from Dawn Bennett's then I strongly suggest you start at the beginning...RIGHT HERE.
Each of our design team members have a giveaway on our personal blogs so be sure
and follow me and leave a comment while you are here. I will draw a random
winner for my personal blog giveaway and post the winner's name on August 11th.
Here is what someone will win just for visiting me today...the Popcorn the Bear
- Birthday Wishes stamp set!!
You must be a follower of the Crafters Companion Blog
ONE winner will be chosen and that ONE person will get
$100.00 gift card to the Crafter's Companion store
I decided to make a CUPCAKE BOX for our Birthday person.
Let me share a few steps to make one of these.
I started with The Popcorn Bear Birthday CD and printed out a layered sheet for a couple tags.I pulled out my Ultimate tool so I could make a box much easier. I did a search on-line to find my dimensions.
I love having the crease straight and crisp. even when layering paper to decorate I love the tool for measuring.
To make the inside insert I measured to fit in snugly.I then used my Spectrum Noir markers and a ruler to outline the edges. I used a hand punch to cut out the shape in the middle.
When designing I used the smaller layered tag layered on the shape I cut out of the cupcake holder.
The larger layered Bear was perfect for the top.
I used some fun papers called songbird and a great ribbon from my stash to attach the tag to the box.
This box could be used for other ideas besides a cupcake, but I think we needed one for our birthday celebration.
Here is a list of the DT you will need to visit on
