Double Duty Projects for Crafter's Companion

Welcome to Wednesday August 1st, and some wonderful Crafter's Companion projects.
Today I have my regular CC project post and The monthly CC project.
Have you played along with our monthly challenge yet?

A FEW RULES
This month our challenge to you is to make a project using a Crafter's Companion Stamp and the theme "FRIENDSHIP".
All entries must use a Crafter’s Companion stamp. No reproductions of a stamped image will be accepted. You may create a card, layout, or altered item. Please mention which product(s) you used in your post. It is not always clear. Your blog post must include our blog name and link back to us.
Please post a direct link using Inlinkz. All projects must be new. Please no back linking to past posts.
The challenges will be posted on the 1st of every month and will end at 8:00 p.m. PST on the last day of the month. A RANDOM winner will be chosen using a random number generator on the 2nd of each month. The winner will have one week to claim your prize
I used one of my favorite images that reminds me of my daughter when she was a little girl. This image is from Paintbox Poppets CD and one of many adorable children on this CD.This friendship theme is between the little girl and her favorite Teddy Bear.
I cut several of the layers and pop dotted them and added some of my favorite stickles and ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
Such a quick and easy card with such an adorable little one. Hope you play along with us this month.

This week at Crafter's Companion~  Team 1 is able to share anything we want from the CC store.

I used Stamp It Holiday Collection, isn't this a fun set to play with or what.
I started by stamping this set and coloring with my Spectrum Noir markers of course.
I used several of my favorite reds and blended away...then used some liquid applique for the white areas.
I used a window die cut to look like a clothing chest, I know Santa has to hang up his suit while he isn't using it  doesn't he?
Each piece was fussy cut and pop dotted to the chest.
I even opened the chest and added the suit in the inside with some of my favorite Really Reasonable Ribbon Baker's Twine.
I wanted to share how I used my Spectrum Noir markers to color the die cut.

The paper on the background is a fun Webster's Pages vellum piece. I used my Wescott crafting knife and a ruler to cut out the opening so you can see inside the chest.
Now you know I had to decorate Santa's chest just a little~ I am sure Mrs Claus would want it that way.
