Who Hoo!!!
I am so excited to share my first post as a member of the Designer Crafts Connection...today I am joining the monthly blog hop. There are some of the most talented crafters around on this team.
Can you believe it? I am a little excited, so won't you join me?
The Designer Crafts Blog Connection is a group of professional Arts & Crafts industry designers, who are linked together to support each other and industry manufacturers with one objective - to share their love of crafts with as many people as possible. We post projects and giveaways on the First Monday of each month. Look for this logo on your favorite craft blogs then hop around for inspiration. You'll be glad you did!
If you look to the right you will see my Designer Craft Connection Logo with an option to go forward or back and check out many of the designers.
Our theme this month is to use School supplies. So I chose to alter a lunchbox tin with some extra supplies. The outside is altered to be a chalkboard, the inside holds various supplies
to take along when needed.
Using a larger baby food jar, some crayons from my stash, and my hot glue gun...I was able to make a holder for the chalk pieces, or maybe paper clips, rubber bands.to take along when needed.
Such a fun way to share.I used some designer paper to cover the inside. Then I placed velcro strips on the inside cover and on the markers. This way they attached and stayed secure.
I waited till the first layer was dry and sponged on a second color...think there good summer colors.
Wanted to share the altered jar ~I even decorated the lid to close and save the supplies when tin is closed.
Thanks for popping in and checking out my first project with Designer Craft Connection~hope you check out the wonderful projects created this month by the other members.
