The Foolish Man Seeks Happiness

*** I have two posts today please check out my floral bouquet ***

I am here today to share another Crafter's companion sneak peek with a Joanna Sheen - stamp. These will be found right here when they are released.
 Isn't this a beautiful image?
I want to share with you today how I made the stained glass and stone doorway.
When I work in my craft room I like to keep my camera near me so I can take pictures of the steps to create my projects.
I stamped a second image to use for my paper piecing and cut out the archway to use for my stained glass piece.
These are the markers I used to color my window pieces. Can you see that I just dotted the various colors so there wouldn't be any stroke marks.
At this point I decided I needed to cut just the piece I want to pop dot for a layer.I used three different sets of Gray and a few of browns to outline the door.
3D Crystal Lacquer is what I used on the stained glass part -I tend to be impatient so i warmed it with my heat gun and moved the paper to give it an almost cracked look.
I found this background paper and ribbon in my stash and it worked perfect with my colors.
Sorry the picture is blurry but the shine was hard to photograph...just wanted to share the dimension.
The inside was also finished with the same paper and layering.
Thanks for checking out my project.
Have you seen all the wonderful projects this week already from the talented team? I hope you know that each and every day there are two posts from two different team members. Wouldn't want you to miss any spectacular projects.
