A B C's on Canvas

Remember when you were learning the A B C's? I always loved learning and this is what I was doing.
I was watching Tracy Weinzapfel from Helmar-she does a weekly U stream class. She has been sharing canvas projects and this just came to me.

I got these adorable digital images from NiceCrane Designs and knew they would be perfect for my project.

I used one of those canvases you buy from any LSS type store. The A b c images are from a series called Vintage Children Alphabet and are a set of four if you want them all.
This is a link to the post he shared my project.
I used some Helmar glue to put it together and was really thrilled it held everything so well.
I used some Tim Holtz and Tattered Angels Glimmer chips. All the digital images were enlarged and then printed and distressed with Tim Holtz ink. All the extra pieces were also inked and distressed.
I tied the skis together with some twine from Really Reasonable Ribbon
The key is also from Tattered Angels but was silver- I used some Creative Inspiration paint in Gold to change that quickly.
I used some liquid applique to accent and also some stickles for a little glitter. This was so fun to step outside my box and create something new for me.
