Creative Cuts And More Moving Blog Hop

Welcome Everyone!
If you are just arriving from The Die Cut Diva blog you are in the right place.
If at any time you get lost or a link isn't working- just pop back to the Die Cut Diva Blog and get the line up.

There is a prize of a movement card assortment of your choice!

Today I am starting with one of the easiest and most bang for your buck cards. The standing Pop Up card is just so easy to put together.
I started with the three pieces:
The card mechanism measures 4" x 5-1/4", both assembled and folded..
The back layer measures: 2-1/4" x 4-3/4".
The front layer measures: 2" x 4-1/2".

I chose to use two shades of green very close to each other on the color wheel.

I stamped with a Clear & Simple stamp set called Hot Chocolate. I decided to emboss all the images to give them just a little more texture. I matted the back layer on the front layer and added a small piece of ribbon for the pull. Now you could use anything here you might like- such as a button, or an extra image or sentiment. The possibilities are unlimited and you can use your imagination.

I also wanted to show you where I placed the Killer White Tear-able Tacky Tape - 1/4" .
When you close the tape together you actually end up with a box shape that looks like a W in the inside.

***As you might have noticed I also did all my decorating BEFORE I taped the card  base. I used a Spellbinder shape to place a sentiment from the stamp set. Now make sure you make it small enough, but also check to make sure the card will close nicely where ever you place the shape.
The back and front layer card slides in and should be attached to the bottom with
Killer White Tear-able Tacky Tape - 1/4" . so it doesn't slide out of the mechanism.
This is what it looks like attached in the inside, there are several choices of ways you can attach. You might decide to attach between the pieces on the bottom. You can also attach on either side below.

This is how it looks standing up with the inner piece attached

Those wonderful ribbons are from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
This is how the card looks lying flat ready to be mailed!
Now how easy was that? You can order several of these wonderful cards in various colors and have them ready for any occasion.
Now if you can't wait to get a prize of a movement card assortment , You can  buy packages of MOVEMENT CARDS- just follow the link and check them out.
How about an envelope for all your cards!!  Click HERE to see them all!  They come in packages of 10!  They are a great deal!!  Creative Cuts and More carries A2, A6, A7 and 5-1/2" square envelopes.

Well I am glad you could visit me today. Hopefully you enjoyed my Tutorial- now you need to move on to the next blog on the hop Kristine   I know she will have a beautiful creation to share with you.
