I Love You - Hey Cupcake!

Page Maps blog has a couple contests running this month. I found this card sketch and decided I would play along. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE page maps sketches!
I enjoyed using this sketch for two cards- I only submitted the first one for the contest. I wasn't sure if they accepted more then one entry.
To enter, create a card based on this sketch, using any products you would like. The theme is wide open! The contest starts today and ends at midnight, Sunday, September 26th (MST). This contest is open to US residents only or anyone with a US shipping address.
Isn't she the cutest thing you ever seen? This is Shy from Digital Pencil Too.
I colored her with my Copics and used the fun paper pack from GCD Studios- Homespun Chic.

I used Close to My Heart ink to color the flower ribbon from my stash.
Used my circle Spell binders to cut the background and cut and pop dotted this cutie.
So do you like this card?  How about a second one?
Now isn't this another cute image? This image is by Nina May from Paper Cupcake.
I used the scraps from one piece of paper from the first card. I love that I got two cute cards from one piece of designer paper.
That adorable sentiment is from a Gina K design cupcake stamp set.

Just had a few minutes to put together a layout for the latest challenge at BetterScraps.
Better Living Through Scrapbooking September Challenge #3
“Fashion disaster challenge”
Create a layout about a fashion disaster, hair disaster, or social faux pas that happened to you.
1. Use an old school photo of yourself on your layout.
2. Use fabric or canvas on your page(s).
3. Use one larger and two smaller photo on your page.
4. Use ribbon in a fun and/or unusual way on your page.
5. Use the following as a page title, or the beginning of your journaling: “Quick, Call the Fashion Police!”

Used some paper I had left over from a constant campaign from Close to My Heart- I also found this satin fabric in my scraps to attach.
I didn't have a hard time finding a horrible picture, this one is from a wedding I was a bridesmaid for about 20+ years ago. Isn't that hair something?

Have you stopped in to Top Tip Tuesday to leave a tip in the links??? What are you waiting for? We would love to have you join our drawing this week, we have great sponsors giving gifts!
You have till Wednesday to submit your use of the sketch this week at Sketches In Thyme.

Thanks for stopping in today.

  2. OMG you wore me out! LOL You were a busy lady. Love the two cards. Don't you love the images from Mo's. You colored it beautifully! The Nina May image is cute too and you did a wonderful job with it. Your layout for your page made me laugh with the fashion police saying. Great job on that! Best, Curt
