Dinosaurs and Dragons are Not Extinct!!!

Extinct? Is that what I said?
Check out my  adorable freebie image from TLC Creations. I have been seeing so many darling cards made with this image and just needed to play with it myself.
I enjoyed using some of my other Copic colors.
I seem to be drawn to the color orange also lately. I thought these turned out great, and was fun to color.

I used some Stickles in several colors and Liquid Glass from Close to my Heart to add that extra bling...I think this is one of my most glitzy cards.
Card stock form Close to my Heart, and ribbon from my stash.

Do you have many Stickles in different colors?
I thought this Marmalade color was yummy.
Would you like to see what I was doing all weekend???

I was working on my neglected gardens! You see for the last three summers I was in a surgical boot or preparing for surgery, so I  just let everything grow. At least they are all perennials.

Yes I dug this all out on two sides of my house to straighten the line and next I can pull back some more of these over grown gardens.
I also finished this row all the way down. I have to admit it looks so much nicer.

Thanks for visiting today, I always enjoy your visits.

  1. Dawn,
I love this card! The little dino/dragons are so fun!!!!! I think the orange with is is just fab! You really captured the liquid glass just in the right light in this photo. I know how difficult that is to show up in a photo. I love it on your flowers. Yes, the marmalade is yummy.
Glad you enjoyed some gardening this weekend too!

  2. Your card is cute. Did you know that orange looks really good with purple? It's true, Hannah has a pair of purple pants and this orange shirt I put her in all the time, because I love the way it looks together... lol.

Your garden looks better than mine!!!!

  3. This card is adorable!!! Love it.

  4. Great card, Dawn! I'm glad that you went over to Create with TLC. Her images and sentiments are awesome! I'm really lovin' orange this year - great color choice!

  5. I really like your card! Marmalade is one of my favorite colors - very pretty!

The work in your garden looks good!! I didn't do too much out there last year, so I had my work cut out this year. Now it's jsut pulling those occassional weeds, feeding, and watering. Much better!

  6. Love what you did with my digi stamp~! Fantastic card. Enjoyed seeing it.

  7. oh you are good! your garden looks fabulous. maybe you should have gotten that adorable dragon to help you. i'll bet he would have had the dirt tilled in record time too!!!

i have ALL the stickle colos except for the distressed ones. i know... i'm a hog! lol

  8. Great card, I just read a book not long ago to my girls about a Dinosaur who did not want to acknowledge it was Extinct.

    Too cute.

  9. Wow, I feel for you and your garden! I only had to take last year out and it went wild, can't imagine how I'd coped after 3!!! I'd probably be wilder than it haha! Nice job on garden and card:D
    Love as always Gina x x x

  10. Cute cards! I have a few stickles but not many in different colors...mainly just clear, silver, gold colors. And it looks like you have been busy in the yard!
